Dr. Marcial Oquendo is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received his medical degree from the Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela and completed his pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Texas. Dr. Oquendo is the owner and physician at Guadalupe Medical Center, where he provides care primarily to the Venezuelan/Hispanic community. He is trained and certified in several medical aesthetics procedures, treatments and devices and has served as Medical Director for integrated healthcare and medical aesthetic practices since 2019.

Dr. Oquendo has held numerous leadership positions in organized medicine, including roles with the Texas Medical Association, Texas Pediatric Society, Dallas County Medical Society, and American Academy of Pediatrics. He serves on committees focused on socioeconomics, practice management, Medicaid/CHIP, and more.

Awards he has received include the Early Career Physician Award from the Texas Pediatric Society and the Better Together Award from the American Cancer Society. Dr. Oquendo has over a dozen publications in medical journals and has presented on various topics at medical conferences. He has made over 100 media appearances on major networks and publications covering clinical issues and public health.
